Rick has counseled individuals and couples in a University setting, a Police department, and in private practice. He finds that using the Enneagram in his practice empowers clients by giving them a tool to control their own changes. It also increases clients’ compassion and sense of humor about the suffering all humans impose on ourselves. Rick believes that self awareness and curiosity about dilemmas are important practices allowing us to stay grounded while engaging the present.

I support people as they go through some of life’s tougher times. I do not “fix” anyone. I help people remember the truth about their worth and value and guide them as they practice living from that truth whether it’s for the first time or not. When we get afraid and empty, it is almost impossible to remember this by ourselves, and we need an experienced, knowledgable and loving ally to shine the light for us through the dark and confusing times.
Paying attention to life’s “wake up calls” and choosing to learn from them rather than spending a lifetime being a victim of them takes uncommon courage. But happiness–described as a profound sense of peace that does not come and go depending on external circumstances–is the ultimate reward!

I am passionate about guiding people (and myself) toward a path of self-discovery, self-love, self-forgiveness, self-compassion, and self-acceptance. By embarking on this journey into the self, we find the freedom and courage to engage with others and with life in meaningful and honest ways. This gives us the ability to care for others without feeling drained of energy, to connect with the world from a place of joy, and to feel incredible in our own bodies.
I create a healing space for you to explore your deepest inner self. I create an environment, which allows you to claim your gifts and create a path to your highest passions and most joyful sense of being in the world.I have an exceptional knack for knowing what blocks a person must dismantle in order to be able to step into and embrace the life that is waiting for them.

As a therapist, Eliane uses many tools to help her clients in understanding themselves deeply, but the Enneagram is her favorite tool, both for self-understanding and for understanding other important people in our lives. With understanding often comes compassion and forgiveness for ourselves and others. Elaine appreciates how the Enneagram allows for differing perspectives: no one is right or wrong . . . we just see things differently. She also appreciates the way it can help us to see a road map to getting to our best selves and an understanding of when we are acting in unhealthy ways. Elaine uses the Enneagram for her own growth and in understanding the people in her life, as a practical, as well as a spiritual guide.
